If you are an American citizen and you want your foreign fiancée to travel to the United States to marry you and live in the United States, you must file a Petition for Alien Fiancée (I-129F), with the United States Citizenship & Immigration Service (USCIS). Once she is in the U.S., you have 90 days to marry her or she must return to her country. All paperwork for this type of visa must start in the United States.
